Google AdWords - Top Affiliate Marketers Reveal Their Secrets

Google Ad Words - Top Affiliate Marketers Reveal Their Secrets

Affiliate marketers have found that Google AdWords is at the heart of generating a huge passive income from the Internet for life. Once they have mastered this skill, they start earning serious amounts of money. Top affiliate marketers who have made literally millions of dollars have exactly the same tools as anyone else has -- the same Blogs, the same Google AdSense and AdWords, the same ClickBank and the same Internet. The difference is that over time they have learned through experience which approaches work well and which do not.
Underneath the apparently simplicity, Google AdWords has a lot of subtleties which need to be mastered before advertising campaigns become highly successful. The top affiliate marketers, those who have spent years learning by experience, have written entire books on the subject, and all their experiences are available to people like yourself. Think of it as an open secret - a secret they are willing to share with those who will listen.
Therefore, if you want your AdWords campaigns to be really effective, a number of resources are available which delve into this critical subject in much greater detail. Before you spend huge amounts of time, money and effort re-inventing the wheel and learning from bitter experience what does and doesn't work, make sure you spend some time reviewing the many books that are available on this subject. Software is also available to help you manage the whole AdWords campaign and identify suitable keywords.
These resources are not written by academics in universities, but by real affiliate marketers who have spent months learning from experience what works in practice and what does not. In some ways it is amazing that they are prepared to make their knowledge available to the public at all.
So, if you understand the potential of Google AdWords but find that it's not yet working for you, make sure you thoroughly understand the many pitfalls, and the reasons why certain approaches do not work. All this information is available from many websites, and many authors and affiliate marketers have already trodden that path before you. AdWords is an awesome tool, but its simplicity makes many think it is easy to make money. It is - but only when you know how!

Current Google Affiliate Marketing Trends & Tips
Google affiliate marketing is once again on the popular list of Internet marketers. If a website owner wants to cash in on the many benefits of affiliate advertising then usage of the Internet should be examined and tools used to quickly identify new trends. Usage of such will help the website marketer to track sales and get a more accurate assessment of the return on investment.

Optimize for Tablets & Cellphones

Web marketers failing to optimize their Google affiliate marketing ads for the mobile environment will lose out on a great deal of users. Mobile commerce is growing fast and as such effective affiliate ads should be created for the mobile environment. Don't just focus on the conventional Internet user, but also on the mobile user.

Interactive & Stimulating Content

People are tired of reading the same old captions and sales ads. In addition, they don't want to see long stories about the benefits of using a product and as such the old landing pages consisting of long sales letters will have to go. Dynamic content generation is the way forward and with that then usage of HTML5 and a bit of Flash are allowable.

The idea is to create a high level of interactivity between the website and the consumer once the user has clicked on one of the Google affiliate marketing ads. Consumers have become more sophisticated users of the Internet and the long sales letters with loads of testimonies and hype words simply will not trick them into buying. Be honest; give the specs of the product and use video, 3D as well as interaction tools such as click for a show rather than the user scrolling through endless text to get to the price.

Other Important Trends

Google announced its new feature, the Google+1 earlier this year which connects SEO with the social media. With the feature, the consumer opinion becomes important for ranking and such feedback is gained from the social media platforms. Google affiliate marketing ads should be targeted and the landing pages highly relevant. Where consumers don't like something, chances are that the site ranking will drop. Ensure favourable feedbacks from consumers to secure ranking.

Googleaffiliatenetwork.com Website Review & Ratings + Google Affiliate Network Coupons

Googleaffiliatenetwork.com Website Review & Ratings + Google Affiliate Network Coupons

Google Affiliate Network is a service that helps online advertisers increase sales while allowing online publishers to monetize traffic to their blog or website. The advertiser supplies affiliate banner ads and links to place on the site and the publisher is paid when a user clicks through and purchases a product or service.
For a blog or website owner, Google Affiliate Network offers:
For an advertiser, Google Affiliate Network offers:
Since publishers are only paid on sales, advertisers can save money on advertising. Publishers on the other hand can use this program to make some extra money promoting products that are useful to their readers and relevant to their content.
Google Affiliate Network: What makes it different?
Publisher OpportunitiesGoogle Affiliate Network also offers publishers the ability to advertise major brands, which are not available in many other programs. These are programs such as Sam's Club, Nike and Red Envelope. Many of these programs have preapproval criteria, but it is possible to become a publisher for some of these programs.
Publisher ApplicationApplying for Google Affiliate Network is fairly simple. In order to participate you must have a valid Google AdSense account.
You will also need to provide:

  • Your contact information,
  • the name and description of your website and
  • how you plan to drive traffic to your site.
You should receive approval or denial of your application within 24 hours.
Advertiser Application

In order to become an advertiser you need to speak to a Google Affiliate Network representative. Google also provides a launch checklist which lists some of the things you need to do in order to get started. Some of these include sending in your deposit, creating banner links and creative assets as well as merchandising information.
Affiliate Program ApprovalGoogle Affiliate Network has a search function which allows you to locate products and services that are relevant to the content on your website or blog.
For each listing you will see:
  • The program name and details,
  • if a product feed is available,
  • the duration of the tracking cookies,
  • the company's payout rank and
  • the average earnings per 100 clicks for the last seven days and three months.
Joining a program is as simple as clicking a button. Most advertisers do not automatically approve applications, so you may have to wait a few days to know if you were accepted into their affiliate program.
Affilate Program Link InformationWhen you're approved as an affiliate you'll have access to all of the banners, links and promotions for the company's products and services. You can also look up individual products such as books in the Google eBook affiliate program.
Unfortunately Google Affiliate Network does not give the conversion rank for each individual banner, so you have no way of knowing which banner is converting best for other publishers. However, you can see the conversion for the product or service itself, based on 100 clicks which can be helpful in knowing which companies are converting well, so that you can give them better placement on your blog or website.
Help and SupportAs with most Google Products, help is just a click away. Although they don't offer phone support, they do have a form that can be used to contact a customer service representative. They also have a help button which will direct you to a help section which includes step-by-step tutorials that can help you learn the basics of using the Google Affiliate Network. However, there isn't much information available on how to use all of the feature, for that you can go to the forums or use trial and error.

Best Available Google Affiliate Network Coupon:
Google Affiliate Network vs. primary competitors (sites similar to Google Affiliate Network)
There are many affiliate networks available. Two of the largest and the closest competitively with Google Affiliate Network are Commission Junction and LinkShare.
Commission Junction is very similar to Google Affiliate Network. However, they do offer a program called Pay-Per-Call which can give you another option to monetize your site as a publisher. One other benefit to using Commission Junction is that they do give you the average earnings for each banner ad or link so that you can see which ads have been converting well in the past. Commission Junction also has some well known brands on their site, but not in the same numbers as Google Affiliate Network. Overall they both have a wide variety of affiliate programs, however the brand recognition of some of Google Affiliate Network's advertisers may lead to an overall higher conversion for those products.
LinkShare offers a large number of advertisers, though they do have some brands with name recognition, their strength lies in the number of niche affiliate programs they have. They also offer a Pay-Per-Call program. LinkShare also has the lowest payout of most affiliate networks. Their payment threshold is $1.00, but you can set it for any amount you wish. That is the one main benefit for a publisher just starting out, since in the beginning the sales commissions may be low.
Both of these programs are free for publishers.
As with Google Affiliate Network if you want to start as an advertiser with either of these affiliate networks, you would need to contact a representative.
Remember, as a publisher, you are not limited to one affiliate network. You can use these two programs with Google Affiliate Network, to find the right advertisers for your site.

Google Affiliate Network: Pricing & packages
Publisher PaymentsAs a publisher, the main difference between Google Affiliate Network and some of the other affiliate networks is the pay system. While most of the affiliate networks have a $100.00 payout minimum, the Google Affiliate Networks payment is made through Google AdSense. This allows you, as a publisher, to combine your earnings from these accounts, which may help you meet your minimum sooner.
Google AdSense pays once a month. You would be paid at the end of the month following the date your account reaches the $100.00 minimum payout.
Each individual affiliate program advertiser offers a different payout rate. Mostly it's based on a percentage of the sales amount. Therefore, each individual publisher can make a different amount based on the number of sales as well as the amount of each sale.
Advertiser PricingIn order to learn the cost of becoming an advertiser in the Google Affiliate Network you need to contact a representative. They would be able to tell you the implemtation costs as well as any deposit required for setting up your affiliate program.

Google Affiliate Network: Customer reviews & comments
Overall most people are pleased with the Google Affiliate Network. They find the the network has a large amount of affiliate programs which fit the needs of their sites and are relevant to their readers.
"All in all, the Google Affiliate Network is a solid network that’s fair to affiliates. If your site is focused around a niche that complements regular household products such as clothing, tools, or anything else you might find at the mall."Jeff Greer via AffiliatePrograms.com
"I made the swap myself only last week, i’ve been trying out lots of different affiliate providers over the years and most of them are just a waste of time, don’t fully trust them to be honest. Google affiliate Network looks promissing and seems to be tracking a lot of clicks unlike others i’ve tried, give it a go if affiliate sales is your thing."
Chris via DotWeekly.com
Some people have it hard locating products that fit their niche. If you have a specialized or obscure niche this may be difficult with any affiliate network. You'd have to keep checking back as new affiliate program advertisers are added.
"If memory serves me correctly and that’s very doubtful these days ;-) I think I read a post you wrote some time ago and mentioned Google Affiliate Network. At the time, I gave it a try but didn’t have much success finding relevant products for my niche. Guess I’ll need to check it out once more."
Robert via iBlogZone.com
Google Affiliate Network adds new affiliate programs and advertisers every week, so in time a program may become available that fits your niche. Also, you can do a little "out the box" thinking and see if there is some way to find products that are relevant to your niche or your readers.

Google AdWords Affiliate Marketing

Google AdWords Affiliate Marketing

Google AdWords affiliate marketing has carved a niche for itself. Gone are the days of offline promotional tactics and have been replaced by direct, hard-hitting marketing, focused on the target audience across the globe. Google has made a special arrangement for AdWords management through various affiliates, also known as publishers. The increasing complexities of online marketing have resulted in ushering in tertiary parties or affiliates. Google AdWords affiliate marketing is fast gaining momentum to keep up with more producers realizing the tremendous potentialities of Internet marketing and careful AdWords management by Google, the most popular search engine today.
Simply stated, Google AdWords affiliate marketing is nothing but placing of advertisements at strategic websites by online traders and the revenue thus generated by sale is shared by both; the merchant has to pay the website owner when customers click on the ads. This is a novel yet persuasive form of AdWords management. Google AdWords affiliate marketing draws expectant businesses to get across quickly to a large segment of society, irrespective of nationality, age or gender. Alongside the search results based on the keywords, AdWords are presented to the viewers.
AdWords management calls for certain norms to be followed to be an instant success. The format, consisting of the headline, benefits of the merchandize, its price and contact information of the seller, be it a URL or simple telephone number, has to be short and crisp. The three main types of Google AdWords affiliate marketing are:
1. Pay-Per-Click
2. Pay-Per-Lead and
3. Pay-Per-Sale
AdWords appears as "Sponsored links" on the right side of the webpage. The major advantages of Google AdWords affiliate marketing are:
• Very wide exposure of goods and services
• Offers greater control over your budget
• Facility for testing the ads
• Target audience of your choice
• Facility for running many ads at once
If a seller uses a number of ad formats like text, images or video clips, it will have a better impact upon the prospective customers. Also, use your keyword more than once to drive home complete awareness about the product. A keyword density between 1 and 2 percent is ideal. Using a lower density will be ineffective and using more will be equally if not more ineffective because it may be considered spam. Consider hiring an SEO expert to help with your internet marketing campaigns. Focus on both PPC and organic search engine marketing. Organic results show up naturally in the search engine results pages (SERPS).

Combining Google AdSense Profits With Affiliate Marketing Revenue

Combining Google AdSense Profits With Affiliate Marketing Revenue

Regardless of whether you earn your entire income online or simply need funds to keep your website running, affiliate marketing is an excellent way to meet your financial goals. Affiliate marketing is a simple and easy program through which you can earn a lucrative income and it is beneficial to both merchants and affiliates.
The Benefits of Affiliate Marketing
When simply explained, affiliate marketing is an agreement or relationship between a merchant and an affiliate marketer. The affiliate promotes the merchant's product or service on his or her own website and earns money when traffic is driven to the merchant's site and a sale is made.
With other programs, the affiliate is paid a small fee for each visitor who clicks through to the merchant's website, whether or not he or she purchases anything at that time. These two payment methods are referred to as pay-per-sale and pay-per-click, respectively.
It is important to understand, however, that driving traffic to the merchant's website is the primary way to enjoy a lucrative income, regardless of type of payment method with which the affiliate is compensated.
The Addition of Google AdSense
Google AdSense is also regarded as a type of affiliate marketing program. With this program, Google acts as a middleman between merchants and affiliates. The merchant signs up with Google and provides a link to his or her website, the latter of which subsequently appears on affiliate website or on the websites of those who have previously joined Google's AdSense program.
The Google AdSense program uses the aforementioned pay-per-click compensation method. This means that regardless of whether or not a sale is generated through the efforts of the affiliate, he or she will still be paid for each customer who clicks on the ad. The merchants pay Google a predetermined amount for each click, and Google then forwards a share of this amount on to the affiliate via a check. Such checks are typically sent to affiliates on a monthly basis. Webmasters are usually given tracking tools with which they can monitor their earnings from each specific ad. In this way, both affiliates and merchants can track which ads are generating the most revenue.
Combining Google AdSense With Traditional Affiliate Programs
The ultimate goal of both merchants and affiliates with regard to the aforementioned marketing programs is obviously to generate a lucrative income. Whether marketers choose to become involved with the Google AdSense program or traditional affiliate marketing programs, if they put forth a reasonable amount of effort they will reap significant financial rewards.
Merchants will also discover that such programs are highly beneficial, as they can virtually eliminate expensive advertising, yet still earn an excellent income. Many affiliates and merchants choose to combine standard affiliate marketing programs with the Google AdSense program to further increase their profits.
Those who are dedicated to building their business and who follow the appropriate steps will find that joining affiliate marketing programs such as Google AdSense will quickly speed them toward their financial goals.

Using Google to Search for an MLM Network Marketing Home Business Internet Opportunity

Using Google to Search for an MLM Network Marketing Home Business Internet Opportunity

It is amazing how people search the Internet for information. I mean look at the phrase mlm network marketing home business internet opportunity. That phrase could be searched who knows how many different ways. Google and Yahoo, among others, will take those words and turn them into millions of results in less than 1 second if you have high speed Internet.
How do I know that? Because I just did it.
What is amazing to me is that people including myself are now typing very long keyword phrases into the search bar of our favorite search engine to get very highly relevant results. This is what all of the brains at Google envisioned. Highly relevant search results in a matter of seconds. A person who types in mlm network marketing home business internet opportunity is saying several things.
1. They are looking for a way to make money on the Internet
2. The are looking for a home business
3. The are looking for a network marketing or mlm opportunity.
The Internet certainly gives us lots of options. I personally like SFI Marketing Group as a home business that can be done on the Internet and provides a compensation plan like a network marketing business. Although they are not really a true mlm they have a what they call a hybrid plan that combines the power of affiliate marketing and network marketing. They have an Internet based membership product called the "International Association Of Home Business Entrepreneurs", or IAHBE for short to do that.
When you join you get access to archives full of information on everything from advertising and marketing to taxes and how to build a website. You can make money by recruiting new affiliates, and building your own SFI Powerline is one of the ways that this becomes a MLM network marketing home business internet opportunity.
When you understand the power of leveraging your time through duplication it makes sense to do it online. The whole process is quicker and a lot less painful then running around delivering products or doing meeting in someone's house. SFI makes it easy to get started.
You can promote SFI or any mlm business online with pay per click advertising or build a website around relevant keywords that Google, Yahoo, MSN, or any search engine would like. This is called search engine optimization. Using Google to search for any long keyword phrase is a very good way to get a list of highly relevant results and help you find the exact information you are looking for. It is also a great way to mkae money for yourself.

How to Do SEO for Google News

How to Do SEO for Google News

Google News is a big syndication or a collection of news from trustworthy news organizations in the world. They have these displayed and published in Google. Because of its popularity and the network that most users are accessing to, many news organizations are having their news articles published in Google News in order to receive lots of online traffic.
Thus, the importance that Google News is to webmasters who want their press releases published in this site. But Google News only gets these from known and trusted news sources and you may not be in this category.
Therefore, you have to make your way around to get your PR releases to the news sources where Google News goes to for articles to publish. And to have a good chance of PR releases to be included in Google News you have to do SEO for your PR articles.

1. Publish only original and unique contents.
You have to strive for originality in your contents. It is obvious that a publisher will prefer originals than rewritten or republished from other sources and making this your priority, you will have much higher chances of ranking well.

2. More recent and updated contents.
Stay on top of new developments and you will have more chances of being ranked high and your contents published in Google News.Google News has ways to detect updates of new developments to already indexed articles content.

3. Local content and local source.
Google News tends to be partial to local news and local or geographical source. Thus you have to be along this line and do not make impression of you being into the international market if you are more into getting local customers.

4. Reputation.
Publisher reputation is important to Google News such that you have to help your publisher build up their online reputation. Volumes of original content are one way to help build up the reputation of your publishers so help them in this scenario by more submissions of blogs or PR releases.

5. Optimization for general SEO .
Like with your other contents you have to optimize your PR releases of blogs. Have proper inclusions of keywords in the title tags and the contents itself for better search engine optimization of your PR releases.
6. Click through rates are important. If your PR contents and blogs are relevant you can expect to get more click throughs and you can get better chances of being published. With every click made counted as a "vote" for your PR contents, you will have chances of being ranked and published.
7. Images. If you think you need images in your contents for submission to the publishers and have this published in Google News, you have to do better optimization. Put an optimized caption in your images but do not have it be "clickable", or being linked at.

What to Look for in a Good Affiliate Program That Can Help You Earn More

What to Look for in a Good Affiliate Program That Can Help You Earn More

Working with Affiliate Programs is one way to work from home and earn a substantial income. A person can easily build a comfortable residual income using affiliate programs. You are an owner of a business without the daily headaches of a business that typically exist in other conventional business ownership. Those who are affiliates do not typically handle customer service issues or stock inventory of any kind, yet they sell products and services and are compensated for being successful.
Affiliate programs have created many millionaires so becoming an affiliate can be very profitable without the long hours and physical labor that so many other jobs or careers entail. That does not mean that an affiliate does not have to work, they do. Affiliates have to be good at prospecting for customers, motivating themselves, staying abreast of industry changes and always update and add to the products and services that they are promoting. How do affiliates know that they are promoting the right affiliate programs? What do they look for in a good program?
Here are some things to look for an affiliate program
  1. The affiliate program should have products or a service that you have some interest in. Are the products or service something that you would be interested in buying yourself? If the product or service has value that you can see, others will too.
  2. Look for a product of high quality. One way to find quality products is to look for the products that experts in the field of Affiliate Marketing are promoting. They are experienced at choosing quality products that sell.
  3. Look for testimonial from people who have purchased the products, read them to ascertain if the people are happy with the quality of the products and if they recommend them to others.
  4. Is the product one that is in a growing target market? You will want to know that there will be a large enough demand for the products that you are promoting so that you can make good money from your efforts. One way to find out if the product has a target market is to check out forums and discussion boards where people are discussing the product (do a search on google to find these by product name).
  5. Check to see if the product is consumable (needs to be replaced or replenished) and if you will be receiving residual income (paid over and over for multiple purchases)
  6. Is the compensation at least 30% of the product price? You do not want to waste your time on not being compensated enough for your time and efforts.
  7. Read Merchant guidelines for sales quotas that may be difficult to achieve. Look for any pre-requisites that must be reached before being compensated. Understand any minimum sales or compensation amounts (checks won't be paid until you reach $100 in commission etc) These requirements are fine as long as you agree to them.
  8. Check out what the merchant is offering as far as tools (pre-written ads, banners etc.) The merchant should also provide information about the products and guides to promoting them. A good affiliate program will also give the affiliate learning tools to help affiliates learn how to promote successfully.
  9. You will also want to be sure that the Affiliate Program has a system set up where you can check your stats (sales, clicks, compensation etc).
  10. Look for an Affiliate Program that provides a help link or forum for it's affiliates and has a history of upgrading or improving their products (products have versions or the site says "new, improved" in regards to the products)
  11. There are many affiliate forums where those working the programs talk about their experiences promoting the product and how they are being treated by the merchant.
Once you have done the above tasks you will be ready to join one or more affiliate programs. It is important for your success to stay on top of the affiliate marketing field. Take some books out of the library that give information about successful affiliate marketing. Another good source of information is right at your fingertips. The article you are reading right now is a prime example. Do research online for articles and websites set up to help affiliate be successful. There are lots of good affiliate programs out there, you just need to know what to look for. Good luck affiliates!

You Must Know This Before You Start an Affiliate Marketing Business

You Must Know This Before You Start an Affiliate Marketing Business

Before you start up your affiliate marketing business, you have to know that it is not a guaranteed path, a 9-5 jobs and over 97% of the people fail (give up before they would succeed). So before you are starting up please consider that not every project you start will be a success, more than that: most of them will be a failure. If you can face this fact, you are ready to test offers, methods and tactics and finally make money. If you expect to make money immediately with affiliate marketing, you are doomed to failure. But if you read on and get to know the simple laws of internet based affiliate marketing, you will be able to break the spell and succeed.
Before you start earning a full time income you are going to need the following systems set up. And I am telling you: it can be hard work.
1. You have to build a professional website copying the most successful internet marketers online, or get a professional to build it for you.
2. You have to learn basic Search Engine Optimization tactics to drive visitors to your website, and sign up for your list or buy your
products. You need to learn keyword research and building backlinks in order to get free search engine traffic daily, and to avoid
getting screwed up by PPC advertising. (PPC advertising is nowadays even harder to master than SEO, and much more expensive).
3. You have to be able to pick the products to promote for the niche you are targeting, that will convert well, match your website content
and the interest level of your visitors.
Many people see Affiliate marketing as an option to get rich quick. I would rather say it is similar to an "on the job" training, where you can learn stuff from others while doing the actual work (affiliate marketing) but will only get paid for the results you produce. These people just submit a couple of free ads, put some banners on the site and wait for the checks to cash in. But affiliate marketing is a business, and has to be treated as a business as well.
There is also no proven blueprint that will work for you. Some gurus claim that the system they are using will work for everyone in order to sell high-end information products, but the truth is: affiliate marketing is about you. It depends on your qualities, background and preferences, which way you want to go, which traffic generation and affiliate marketing method you would like to use to build up your business. I can tell you that you should submit 5000 ads a day but if you are not the "bum marketer" type, you will never be able to do it and finally give up abandoning your whole affiliate marketing business. But if you find a method that is helping your affiliate marketing and you find it easy to do, maybe even enjoy doing it, then you can win the internet marketing game. How long will it take for you to achieve your depends on your marketing plan, ambitions and willingness.
If you are determined enough to give affiliate marketing a try the hardest time will be the first few months. When you get to check your
stats and see that you are not making a full time income yet, it is OK, most people give up here. But if you get to analyze what is working and what is not, you can easily duplicate the things that go well and eliminate the things that are only holding you back. Keep on working, an remember: affiliate marketing is all about testing different offers, landing pages, and traffic sources.
You have to constantly keep an eye on your statistics and website stats as well. You have to determine where the visitors are arriving at your site from, the referring sources and also the bounce rate. (bounce is when a visitor lands on your site and leaves right away.) If you can increase the traffic that delivers the less bounce rate, you are a winner. Also it is useful to install Google Optimizer on your site and keep on testing different variations of your page. As well as the keywords a good squeeze or sales page can increase your commissions by as much as 300% overnight.
Another aspect of visitor analysis is to get a full geographic statistic of your website's visitors. See what they were searching for when they arrived at your page, where did they go from there, and if you really would like to utilize your traffic and plan a long term affiliate marketing business, you can create a pop up when people are leaving the sales page, asking them to take a gift from you or sign up for a free training, Once you do have a list, you can spend more time on tweaking your site and choosing the right offers and less on traffic generation tactics, which might be costly and a lengthy process.
If you are determined enough to stick with affiliate marketing, you'll learn more and more every single day. By analyzing the competition, and reading e-books, maybe articles regarding to affiliate marketing, signing up for some super-affiliates' e-zine you will be able to find the field you will become an expert in. Remember: even gurus don't know everything, they usually know one thing inside out and practice it till they master the particular affiliate marketing technique. You can't expect to become a super-affiliate when you first start, it'll take time practice and dedication. By putting the time and effort into your affiliate marketing business, you'll be able to build a profitable and way of earning affiliate marketing commissions.

Google Affiliate Network

Google Affiliate Network

Google’s affiliate marketing program, Google Affiliate Network, is one of the top affiliate marketing service companies today. Google's virtual advertising program allows webmasters to promote ads from over 800 merchants on their websites. As with other affiliate marketing services, each time an Internet user clicks on the advertisers’ links and makes a purchase, you - as the affiliate, receive a commission.

Google affiliates (publishers) can find special features through the “Help” link located in the top right corner of their account pages. This section not only allows users to learn about the features that are available to them as a publisher, but also provides step-by-step tutorials guiding the users on how they can start utilizing the feature on their own account. We weren’t able to find as many standout features available through Google but we were able to find the standard features that publishers hope to find when using an affiliate marketing service.

Reporting Features:
9.6/10
The one drawback to Google reporting is that they do not offer reports to be generated in API style. In every other aspect, Google has the reporting features we were looking for. With performance- based reports, advertiser- and category- based reports, as well as links and product- related reports, Google provides a way for their publishers to select, filter and generate the specific data they’ are looking for. We found the reporting feature easy to use and a basic necessity for any publisher diving into the world of marketing.

Ease of Use:
9.4/10

The Google Affiliate Network interface is well designed and easy to use. The main link tabs appear in the upper-left corner and create an easy way for publishers to navigate the site. Subtitles for categories appear on the left of each page and allow users to further filter the information they need. We found the site well designed and not overly cluttered, providing users with clear choices that help them navigate to the function or feature they are looking for.

Search Options:
9.5/10

Although Google does not provide the number of search options other services present, they still offer a good selection. We found that while searching products, there is no way to view all the products that Google offers, users must view products one category at a time. The search functions are easy to use, publishers are only required to enter a keyword and all products with that keyword in the title will be pulled for the publisher to view.

Help & Support:
9.1/10

Although Google does not offer customer support representatives through the telephone, they do offer a form users can fill out to contact them regarding questions, violations or feature requests. We contacted Google through this system and found that they were able to answer all of our questions as well as reply in a timely manner.
After the representative replied to our query via email we were able to reply through email, and correspond back and forth with the representative until all of our questions were answered. The customer support representative was very thorough and knowledgeable about the features and services offered through Google Affiliate Network, offering us an ample amount of support.
In addition to the “Contact Us” feature, Google provides their publishers with a Help Forum where users are able to post a question and openly discuss any topic they feel relevant to the services provided. Google is one of the few service providers that offer a forum within their interface that publishers are able to utilize. Google also offers frequently asked questions and tutorials to guide their users toward a successful affiliate marketing experience.

Summary:

Google is a well known name because they offer quality services. Google Affiliate Network comes as nothing less than what a user would expect to get from the Google name. Google offers the features, options and credibility that we feel make an affiliate marketing service great.

The Google Affiliate Network

The Google Affiliate Network

The Google Affiliate Network- What it is, and how it can help you.
The Google Affiliate Network is a site, through Google account that provides affiliate marketers with literally thousands of Companies to market for in ONE place. Using ONE site to manage all of these Companies makes searching for a certain product to market a cinch.
What good is a large Company list?
Have you ever had a great idea about how to market a product?
As an Affiliate marketer, you could have a great keyword, and a great niche, but it does you no good if you don't have a product to sell from a reliable source from which to choose those products. By using a resource that has them all in one place, you don't have to spend your time FINDING a product, and then APPLYING to the affiliate program, only to be turned down. Having a great niche is torturous if you can't find a product to match.
Having a source like Google can save you hours of time. Have you ever tried signing up for Affiliate Networks one at a time? It can take hours!
We signed up with Google and immediately signed up for hundreds of Advertisers in less than an hour. Honestly, we weren't accepted into every single one, but a LARGE majority accepted us.
Now, when we have an idea, we can sign into our account, type in the keyword to match the product, and within a few minutes have a banner, linking affiliate text and ideas on how to market that product.
The Google Affiliate Network also makes it easy to see exactly what you will get paid. When you are accepted (or before you apply) by a company (sometimes immediately) there are tabs that you can click that will give you the company website address and the run down of the company, the commissions (your portion %) the company's guidelines, and also a really cool analysis of WHO comes on their site (demographics and the such).
The Only Problem with The Google Affiliate Network?
Well, you get the ability to advertise for hundreds of companies, and an analysis for who comes on the site, but you don't get the HOW to market to them. For that you will either have to have vast knowledge about marketing, or some luck. In all reality, placing a banner and advertising via PPC and AdWords can only do so much (and in most cases, isn't much). Usually these simply techniques are already taken...
However, you can LEARN how to be efficient with this network by finding a trusted source. For us, we use Wealthy Affiliate University
You can Visit our site to read a full review on The Google Affiliate Network and Wealthy Affiliate by reading our blog.
We started Marketing Ambitions [http://marketingambitions.com], a Marketing and Sales Company, because we were tired of working for corporations that TOLD US when we could see each other, and how much we were worth. We were tired of getting up early every morning to go to work, and never having enough time together, or time to actually live the lives we know we are meant to.

Fast and easy checkout for Android apps selling physical goods and services

Fast and easy checkout for Android apps selling physical goods and services

Shopping for physical goods on mobile devices is a difficult experience for consumers, leading to 97% of mobile shoppers abandoning their shopping carts. Last October, we launched a Google Wallet API to speed up payments on mobile sites. Today, we are inviting U.S. developers to sign up for our new Google Wallet Instant Buy Android API, which makes buying in native Android apps fast and easy.

The Instant Buy API is designed for merchants and developers selling physical goods and services, who already have a payment processor and are looking to simplify the checkout experience for their customers. Developers selling digital goods within their apps will continue to use Google Play In-app Billing, which offers full payment processing capability, including support for carrier billing and gift cards.

The Instant Buy API provides Android developers with these important benefits:
  • Fast checkout for Android users buying physical goods. Users who buy on Google properties have set up Google Wallet. They can now checkout in Android apps in as few as 2 clicks without having to manually enter their billing or shipping information. Google Wallet securely sends this information to the developer with the user's permission.
  • Easy app registration. More logged in users. By implementing Google+ Sign-in along with Instant Buy, developers can enable users to sign-in directly with their Google account, instantly creating an app registration. Having more logged in users allows developers to deliver a highly engaging, personalized experience.
  • More secure payments. All transactions are monitored for fraud 24/7 and covered by Google Wallet Purchase Protection to enable a safer shopping experience for your customers.
  • Easy integration. No Google fees. Since Google is not processing payments or managing fulfillment, there are no additional fees or complex integrations.

Apps integrated with Google Wallet will require the latest version of Google Play Services, which is rolling out to all Android devices in the next day or so.

We'd like to thank our launch partners for integrating early and helping us create a great checkout experience for Android users:
  • Airbnb lets you list, discover, and book unique accommodations worldwide.
  • Booking.com is your key to the best deals on hotels, apartments, and more in over 41,000 destinations.
  • Expedia helps 30 million travelers a month find what they are looking for. One traveler at a time.
  • Fancy allows you to discover and buy goods from a crowd-curated catalog.
  • GoPago live POS allows merchants to broadcast their business to customer smartphones, enabling customers to browse, order, and pay in advance.
  • NFC Task Launcher lets you build macros on your phone that respond to your NFC, WiFi, and Bluetooth triggers.
  • Priceline helps you book the best prices on hotels when you're on the go.
  • Rue La La is the destination for the most desired brands and curated Boutiques at Members-only prices.
  • Tabbedout lets you pay your restaurant or bar tab securely with your phone.
  • Uber gets you a ride with a tap of a button. Request a pickup at your location, track your driver's progress, and pay seamlessly in-app.
  • Wrapp lets you give free and paid gift cards from your top brands.

Google Affiliate Network Shutting Down [Updated]

Google Affiliate Network Shutting Down [Updated]

Google has quietly announced that the Google Affiliate Network (GAN) will be closing. This appears to be a quick decision, or at least was kept very quiet internally, because they recently created new help videos, have been adding new advertisers, and are active on Google+ and Twitter.

An official closure date has not been announced at this time. GAN vaguely said it will wind down the affiliate network over the next few months, although I received information from an advertiser stating that Google's support will not be available after April 30, 2013.

Update - May 2, 2013 (email notice): All GAN services, except for payment and reporting, will be suspended on July 31, 2013. On October 31, 2013 the remaining services are to shutdown and Google Affiliate Network will be terminated. Payments to publishers will be made for activity through July 31st; after this date you should remove all link/add placements from your web properties. If you are interested in trying Google AdWords and do not currently have an AdWords account please email me for a promotional credit.

I have found affiliate advertising to benefit the advertiser more than any other party involved. Don't get me wrong, that is not a bad thing if you are the advertiser! As a publisher I have displayed Google Affiliate Network ads over the years with little success. The primary reason I did not see meaningful revenue is because I don't have the amount of traffic to generate enough clickthroughs. Even still, most visitors didn't click and the people that did rarely ordered which essentially allowed the seller to get extremely inexpensive display advertisements. I understand Google's decision and feel it is the right choice for them. Many people love it and if you are looking for a new service try AvantLink, ShareASale, and Impact Radius.

Google has other advertising solutions/services such as Product Listing Ads, AdSense, and The Conversion Optimizer that marketers can use.

What do you think about the closing of the Google Affiliate Network? Share your thoughts in the comments below.

5 Google Affiliate Secrets To Help You Earn Thousands Of Dollars Monthly

5 Google Affiliate Secrets To Help You Earn Thousands Of Dollars Monthly

There is no doubt that Google affiliates rank as some of the most successful affiliates anywhere on the web.
Yet few understand the reason behind this success. Even the majority of Google affiliates who are yet to start making huge five figure checks do not quite understand why the Google AdSense program has flourished so much within such a short time.
Anybody who understands the real secrets behind the phenomenal rise of Google affiliates will be in a much better position to benefit and profit from it, whether or not they are current AdSense affiliates.
1. Google Affiliates Are Riding On The Most Dramatic Shift In The Advertising Industry In History
A few webmasters think that this AdSense and pay per click affiliate mania is a passing fad. All indications are that this is not the case. If anything mounting evidence points to one of the most dramatic and rapid shifts in advertising industry history. You can't beat the deal to advertisers where they pay only for actual traffic to their website and more so when they can easily calculate their conversion rate on that traffic and predict their profit margin on the deal. This arrangement cannot be duplicated on TV or in any other offline media with so much precision and accuracy.
This means that advertising revenue will continue to shift away from other media and will move online at an even more rapid rate than is the case currently. And not just any online mediums like banner ads for example. The revenue will specifically shift to pay per click text ads. If you need some proof just look at the Google numbers in recent months, and most of it is being generated by PPC ad revenue.
What does that mean to a blogger or webmaster? It means huge and increasing profits as the number of advertisers grows and the competition between them for clicks grows fiercer.
It means that any expert in any tiny little niche will find it increasingly easier to make a good regular income from a low traffic targeted site with higher paying, more valuable AdSense keywords.
2. Google Affiliates Recognize That Content Is Not King, It's Everything
Writers, or rather good writers are already enjoying a huge advantage as Google affiliates. Only well written content will attract quality traffic and only interesting engrossing content will keep that traffic coming back again and again. Only high-quality keyword rich content will keep a site high in search engine rankings and thus guarantee enough traffic to keep Google affiliate AdSense earnings high.
3. Top Google Affiliates Are All Using The Blog Secret
Blogs were created for linking and everybody knows that links are closely related to traffic in two ways, firstly they generate traffic but more importantly, they help a site achieve high search engine rankings with usually opens the floodgates of traffic. Top Google affiliates are using this secret to keep those big fat Google affiliate AdSense checks arriving by special courier every month.
Most top Google affiliates have dozens of blogs loaded with the right keywords and engaging content. With just a little SEO (search engine optimization) skills, these new breed of high flying online professionals are able to get their sites to the top of search engine rankings. It is then minimal maintenance as they sit back and watch the traffic volumes flow to their blogs already loaded with AdSense ads. The result of all this is that the clicks happening at their sites shoots up and with it their Google affiliate AdSense earnings.
4. Google Affiliates Are Using The Secret of The Hook
In advertising it is called the hook. Journalists call it the angle or slant of the story. Both mean the same thing. It is all about picking up a subject and asking yourself, what aspect of it most interests your audience? If you answer that question accurately then your ad or your article will attract maximum interest.
Online this is becoming more critical by the day. Content that is not slanted to fit the interests and needs of you audience will not attract enough interest and this impacts on the traffic of your blog or site and ultimately on your Google affiliate AdSense earnings.
